Live, multi-camera video production no longer exists in the realm of big television studios or giant production trailers with banks of monitors, miles of cables, tape machines, video recorders, video effects generators, titling stations, audio mixers and more. Today all of that exists in the technological heart of the Injured Workers Television NetworkTM! This state-of-the-art, network quality internet television network broadcasts quality programming specific to the interests of America's injured workers and also broadcasts content from some of the best Community Media producers in America from our Bay Point, California network operations center. Instead of using a powerful transmitter and a tall antenna to produce a geographically local signal, or uplinking our programming and burdening ourselves down with very expensive satellite time, we use the internet to transmit our standard definition (hi-def hopefully coming soon) video signal around the world, to whomever wants to tune in, and we're as close as your desktop computer; television set is optional! We're capable of sending a high quality drop-dead gorgeous Flash television stream to hundreds of concurrent users at any one time! Hopefully we will be able to interconnect soon to some of the new generation broadband set-top devices. At this point in time, the Injured Workers Television NetworkTM is not a 24 hour a day channel. Due to this fact, we also run sub-networks for various non-profit organizations that we work with at various times of the day & week when our channel is dark.
